It's strange how you can start a picture with a certain scene or mood in mind and end up with something totally different.
I kinda like what I came up this time, even though it's not what I intended. This is my take on a plant/earth fairy. She carries water around with her to keep her plants alive on days without rain and brings a miniature sun to nourish them. And when her babies near the end of their life, she salvages what she needs, especially when her wings grow tattered. [She's eying up some tiger lily wings next. ;D] I was going to make her scales brown so they'd match her sunflower petal wings, but it just didn't look right. I'm going to say that they're seed pods/buds. Yeah, that sounds good. I'm really behind on my marathon. This took three days, ugh.
